Through a highly competitive process, the project was awarded 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits from the Illinois Housing and Development Authority (IHDA) to develop a 36 unit multi-family project located within the city limits of Urbana, Illinois sitting on 2.25 acres. This transaction involved extensive coordination and cooperation from City, State, Federal Agencies and Community Organizations. Some of those agencies included the Housing Authority of Champaign County our development partner and the City of Urbana. Project received Enterprise Green Sustainable Design Certification.
